Why it's structural, not seasonal: North America has lost roughly three billion birds since 1970. The species on our plates — herons in working wetlands, warblers crossing whole hemispheres twice a year — depend on habitat that is shrinking measurably, season by season.

A brand built on accurate field data can't ignore what the data says. So a share of every tee, cap, and framed plate goes back to the people doing the counting, the banding, and the habitat work.

The local patch only stays worth watching if someone protects it. We'd like to be one of the someones.
