Here's our policy stated the way we keep records — plainly, with the made-to-order facts in the open so there are no surprises.

The short version: Every Larkfen piece is made to order, just for you. If your item arrives damaged, defective, or misprinted, we fix it free, no questions. For change-of-mind, you have a 30-day window with the conditions below. Because items are produced individually, there is a short cancellation window after you order.

1. Why this policy looks the way it does

Larkfen holds no inventory. When you order, your tee, cap, poster, or framed plate is printed, pressed, or framed for you by our fulfillment partner (Printify and its print providers) after checkout. There's no warehouse shelf to put a returned item back on. That shapes everything below — but it never means you're stuck with a flawed product.

2. Damaged, defective, or misprinted items — always covered

If your piece arrives with a manufacturing defect, print error, or shipping damage, we'll make it right at no cost to you.

  • Email a photo to hello@larkfen.com within 30 days of delivery, with your order number and a short description.
  • We'll reprint and reship a replacement (or issue a full refund if you prefer).
  • No return shipment required for defect/misprint claims unless we ask for one.

Examples of what we cover: cracked or off-register print, holes or seam defects, the wrong item or size shipped, a frame that arrived broken, color far outside normal variation.

3. Change-of-mind returns

We accept change-of-mind returns within a 30-day window from delivery, subject to these conditions:

  • Apparel (tees, cap) must be unworn and unwashed, with any tags attached.
  • Wall art (posters, framed prints) must be returned in original condition and packaging.
  • The item must be in resellable condition and not show signs of use.

How it works:

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5 business days of our receiving the return.
  • Exchanges ship as a new made-to-order run.
  • Return shipping for change-of-mind returns is the customer's responsibility. Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
  • We charge no restocking or reprint fee.

> Review note: Many made-to-order/POD sellers don't offer change-of-mind returns at all, because items are custom-produced. Larkfen's existing copy promises a 30-day window, so this draft keeps it — but confirm with counsel and your fulfillment-cost math, and decide who pays return shipping and whether any restocking fee applies. Keep this consistent with the Terms and the Shipping & Returns page.

4. Cancellations & changes (the made-to-order window)

Because production starts quickly, your window to cancel or change an order is short:

  • Cancel or change within 24 hours of ordering, before the item enters production, by emailing hello@larkfen.com with your order number.
  • Once an item is in production, it generally cannot be cancelled or changed for change-of-mind reasons — it's already being made for you. (Defects and misprints in §2 are always covered, no matter when you report them within 30 days.)

5. What we can't accept

  • Items returned after 30 days from delivery (change-of-mind).
  • Apparel that has been worn, washed, altered, or damaged after delivery.
  • Wall art returned without original packaging or damaged after delivery.
  • Final-sale or clearance items, if any are marked as such. **
  • Returns for normal made-to-order variation — slight differences in garment-dye color, wash, fit, or print placement are part of the product, not a defect. (Genuine defects are covered in §2.)

6. Wrong address & undeliverable orders

Please double-check your shipping address — production starts fast and we can't redirect a made-to-order item once it ships. If a package is returned to us as undeliverable due to an incorrect address, we'll contact you to arrange a reship at no charge.

7. How to start a return or claim

1. Email hello@larkfen.com with your order number.

2. For a defect/misprint: attach a photo (no return needed unless we ask).

3. For a change-of-mind return: tell us the item; we'll send return instructions.

4. We'll confirm and process your refund, replacement, or exchange.

8. Refund timing

Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method. After we approve a claim or receive an eligible return, allow up to 5 business days for us to process it, plus your bank or card issuer's posting time.

9. Your statutory rights

This policy is in addition to any rights you have under applicable consumer-protection law. Nothing here limits any non-waivable legal right.

> Review note (important for ads & EU/UK): In the EU/UK, the standard 14-day "right of withdrawal" generally has an exception for custom-made / made-to-your-specification goods — but applying it to a POD item printed-on-demand from a fixed catalog design is a judgment call. Have counsel confirm whether/how the made-to-order exception applies, and whether you must still offer EU/UK consumers a withdrawal right. Meta/Google ad policy reviewers also look for a clear, accessible refund policy — keep this page linked in the footer and at checkout.
